Love saves her...

Love saves her
and makes her forget
Learn from my experience - don't use Mi-Tientes pastel paper for acrylic paintings.... It is not friendly (and it shouldn't be - it's made for dry material). I wanted to do a quick pastel portrait, but for some reason decided to switch to brushes and paint and it turned into an interesting experience. I can't say that I'm completely unhappy with the result, but I will not repeat it...

  1. Oh Zorena, it has a moody quality that is quite different from most of your work, but I rather like it. Sometimes misadventures can be a good thing. I miss the vibrant colors that I'm accustomed to seeing in your work, but I also really like this too. I'm glad you stayed with it.

  2. Yes, I really like what ever happend. It was a good happening. She is so beautiful and I'm wondering if it is the colors that happened cause I like that. So I don't know what Mi-Tientes is. Chances are I won't have this happening to me.
One more thing, the words are wonderful.

  3. I have never heard of it but thanks for the heads up. It is interesting. It reminds me of a plaster painting. I agree with Cookie, sometimes good things come from mistakes...sometimes not. But I like it.

  5. I love her! And I love the ones below too with the torn papers for hair. I did that once with music note papers & it really is cool. Hugs***Renea
