Four together

There were several kind commenters asking me to take a picture of the four angels together. So I did... I took them outside and they fit just right on the bench. An angel gathering on the bench... funny.
When placed together like this they are 48"x36", pretty big... that surface gives very different energy from the images in my journals.
Emelie wrote "they deserve to be in an entryway to greet guests and family and also to bless them as they leave". Doesn't that sound lovely? I loved the thought of it (thank you Emelie) and hopefully a person with a nice entryway will think the same thing and wish to purchase them one day. For now they are living in my art room, greeting mostly me. I put some push pins on the the door and a wall and just hung them there. And I like them there, because every day I get to see new details, that really don't show well on the pictures (and when I use a flash like on the following picture, the details and colors don't show well at all).
I was pretty busy painting this whole week, so there will be more things to share.
Did you notice that it's already a new month? I should change the page on my calendar...
Happy February!

  2. They are powerful and beautiful. The colors really compliment each other. I agree with Emelie...they should be in an entrance... The all looked related too! A mother and her daughters or two sisters and two cousins... very interesting!

  3. I love them and love that they will greet your friends. I have a house full if angel art and my husband is about croaking and has the "angel rule" now..."one in, one out." I don't take it really seriously! I would love to own one if yours someday. Right now, my husband, who is young, suddenly developed serious cancer. I could use another angel!

  6. They're magnificent! I wish I had an entryway large enough to hang one of them but sadly I don't. I'm sure that wherever they go to live they will be loved and treasured.

  9. I loved seeing them together. Personally, I wouldn't separate them...I'd mount them on a large piece of wood. They are wonderful.

  12. Thank you thank you. I really wanted to see them together and Emelie is right. And my first thought was "sister angels", of course. And thanks for showing them in all the different ways.

The blackbirds are passing through and I'm watching them out my window. Still have some snow on the ground.

  13. These are magnificent! I think my favorite one is the angel with the flowers but it's really difficult to decide because they are all just glorious!

  14. so much fun to see them together, and it is so much fun to walk into the studio when there is something new that you like or the artist likes that they have done recently and there it is, beautiful and bold. That is what I frequently think of first when I wake up in the morning, is there something new on my art table.

I always think it is amazing that some detail in a painting can be my favorite part, not the subject always, something more obscure. this is also and example of the many ways there are to do an angel painting. So beautiful.

  16. Such beautiful angels Zorana...i have been in an angel mood myself lately. I think it was Switzerland that really got me thinking about and drawing angels and spirits.
Your paintings are truly wonderful and I am sure the would look lovely in someones home, watching over them. Maybe you should keep one for your studio to watch over your home too?

My favourites!!!!! You are so clever.

  19. I agree with Micki, get these to a gallery. They need to be displayed for many to see. They are stunning and yes, it would be nice if they could stay together. I think that these are my new favorites by you!
