She regretted

- available on etsy -
Because of your comments my journal page stayed the same... Thank you. It makes sense that is should stay like it to represent how I was feeling at the time. Instead of painting over the page, I used a canvas board and this lady showed up. I hope you are enjoying the weekend. I am. Not quite healthy yet, but fighting it and loving the unusually hot weather we have.

  4. I am with the others I am glad you kept the page...sometimes we don't like our art just after we have created it, then later we appreciate it, and it's story.
I see your style changing...journals seem to be the way to go...I am thinking about starting one...you have inspired me.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better.

  5. i so understand your feelings and i'm so happy you didn't paint over the pages and that this beautiful woman could appear on the canvas board. that is the beauty of the journal, we can turn the page and later when we come back what we see is where we were, in some aspect at the time. it is so easy to be hard on ourselves and paint over what we've done - i do it much more than i wish i did, even on the journal page. one of my recent intentions, strengthened by your post and your decision, is to leave a record in my journal, just turn the page....xo

  6. Glad to hear you are feeling better. DH had that crud too.He moved out of the bedroom and sanitized everything he touched so that I wouldn't get it too.
My immune system is impaired due to the transplant and I stay ill for a very long time. This swine flu really scares me and I see myself hibernating thru the winter.
