I'm thinking about creating a new workshop... It's been five months since I launched "Mixed Media Playground" and I'm in a mood to play some more. I started dreaming a color scheme that I would like to use, and I have a basic plan, but don't have the full workshop thought through yet.
I wondered if you have any wishes? Ideas?
How about if we make this more fun.... like - you write what kind of workshop would you like to see, and I pick a random number and give away some of the future art that I will create for it?
Is that confusing?
Probably....
I am giving a piece of art that I didn't create yet, but I will... that should be interesting (or weird).

Can't wait to see if it will be birds, portraits, journals, canvas art... or something completely different.
You can also say that there are already too many workshops and that I really don't need to add another one to the list and that will be fine too.
I'm wishing you a happy weekend!
I am scouring the web for someone doing a tutorial on using iPad apps to draw/paint during those painful times every day that I can't actually have paint on my fingers...!

I'd like to learn how to make one of your beautiful angels. The layers you do on faces and the collage and layers on the dresses.
ReplyDeleteThose colours look amazing! your birds do it for me, though any tuition on mixed media would be great. Cant wait to se what it will be. xx

oh...what a difficult question...beautiful angels, beautiful birds, beautiful artwork!! I would like to lear how to make them all!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHow about one of your awesome faces with a LARGE stylized bird tilted on her head for a hat. Guess I watched too much of the royal wedding with the designer "fasinators". Some were beautiful....and some were absolutely atrocious!
ReplyDeleteI don't know....maybe Americans have had enough of the wedding "hoopla". Anything you decide to teach will be great!
love your angels-all the layers. With I had found your site when you still had your etsy shop.
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn more about painting birds, yours are so lovely ....
ReplyDeleteyes...i also think your birds are beautiful..
ReplyDeleteHmmmm I think that a course covering or reviewing composition would be wonderful. Your pieces are unique not only because of subject matter but how you arrange them as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm just encouraging you to do what you feel led to do; it will be wonderful, because YOU'RE doing it!
ReplyDeleteLove & Laughter,

ReplyDeleteI think any workshop you do would be fun.
ReplyDeleteSorry I haven't been around much lately. I'm in the midst of a huge de-cluttering project.
I would love to see a workshop of painting from the heart and maybe incorporating nature into it... something were you can just paint without thinking, maybe abstract with nature??? Love your work, would love to see more workshops!
ReplyDeleteI would like to learn some of the techniques you learned at some of the workshops you attend. Techniques, ideas....motivation!
