Sweet smelling rose

I am lucky to work with really good people. Today a colleague thought that I look too serious and brought me a rose from his garden to cheer me up. It worked! Imagine the sweetest smelling rose in pink/orange hues in a room with a bunch of computers and no windows... I couldn't help myself... I picked a piece of paper and pencil and sneaked a few minutes sketching it. So there it is.... a piece of desk art as Sharon calls it.

  1. Hi Zorana,
Loooove this beautiful flower and how you can draw roses???...wish I could.
Wow, that's strange, as I was writing my post and looking at Lili, I was also wondering what fun it would be to try to make portraits of people I know, not just paint faces...and I was looking at your photo on your blogsite at the same time, and wondering if I could make a likeness of you...and then you tell me about coming from the same place as my Lili pic...???

  3. Oh yeah and you just happen to carry a camera in this room with no windows. Your rose is just beautiful. I'm talkin about the sketch. Of course your rose/gift is beautiful. What a nice person you work with. How could you now sketch it. Oh those silly cats are still looking at me as I write this comment. I think the middle one is me.
