Hi!

Just dropping by to say hi!
I don't have much to show except this little guy. He is a part of my future workshop and I thought it would be better to post him than leave the post without pictures. I have an almost finished painting on the easel so hopefully there will be something more colorful soon.
Until then - have a happy weekend!

Create the Moment

Thank you for the lovely comments and emails about my video. For all the ones that shrieked when I painted over faces - this one is for you. I am not going to paint over her :-)
8.5"x11" on watercolor paper
- SOLD -
I hope that these new "buy now" buttons don't bother you. I don't want to list these smaller paintings in my etsy shop and I can't keep them all. So my thought was that if someone feels pulled to a certain painting the buy now button makes it easy. If not - just ignore it. It might be just a phase I'm going through...

I Choose to be Happy

I haven't seen sunshine in a week and it was really starting to change my mood dramatically, so I had to make a conscious decision to be happy. What better way to do it then with a brush in your hand. I recorded the whole process, sped it up and posted on youtube. If you are afraid of painting freely - this might give you a nudge in the right direction. I hope you'll like it.

Here is the final painting (9x11").
$50 (including shipping)

Painting on tea bags

Isn't Mrs. Duck adorable?
She tolerated my camera for a while and then told me what she thinks about me...
I just love her hair style!
I sketched the duck lightly on 4 tea bags (read how Lynne Hoppe does it here), painted with watercolors  and glued over dictionary pages in my journal. I didn't have a lot of control over the color, as tea bags  absorb the water easily and make it spread in random splotches, but that made it more interesting.
Painting on tea bags! Try it - it's fun!
