Feeling like a kid...

My daughter had a confident smile on her face while she was giving me her present. She said that it is something that kids would like, and that she is sure that I will like it too. 150 crayola crayons!!! In a fun three-tier container! With metallic and glitter crayons too! I couldn't be happier! She knows her mom well.
The boy was smiling too.... he said he thought that I would enjoy the picture of Ricky Martin (maybe the book also) and he knows that I completely adore Zelda and her wisdom. He knows me well too.
And, yes... it's not about the gifts. I need nothing more than to look at their smiling faces and they know it. Still, it's fun to get presents and right now I don't know whether to read or color first (actually - I did both already).

  3. Awwwww aren't kids wonderful. My two girls gave me a charm for my charm bracelet that I guess they spent quite some time trying to decide which one was right for me. It did not matter which charm they bought, just the thought that they actually worried about how I would like it etc... I was so touched because I know they spent some of their Christmas money (neither have jobs). Sigh....best holiday ever!!!!! God bless and have a good week

  6. How thoughtful your kids were to choose something they knew was just "you".
