I LOVE IT and at the same time I have mixed feelings about it. I always loved the tactile presence of a book.... there is nothing like a well printed book. I work for a printing company, so I'm not doing our industry any favors by not buying books... And - I'm sad for all the bookstores closing (big and small, I just found that a big bookstore that I love will be closed at the end of the year). But still - the fact that I can press a button and download almost any book in less than a minute and start reading it... it's just unbelievable! And it's so easy on the eyes, and to hold. I can't put it down.... Now tell me - what is your favorite book? What should I read?
Congratulations LISA - you are the winner of the giveaway. I don't have your email address, but you can find mine on my profile page.
Happy December!

Congrats, Lisa!!!
Congrats to Lisa!!
ReplyDeleteI, too, have mixed feelings about the book readers. On the one hand they would be so convenient but I love the feel of a book in my hands.
Lucky Lisa, she'll be pleased.
ReplyDeleteI'm an avid reader so naming my favorite book is nearly impossible. One that's surely among the top ten is "Pilgrim at Tinker Creek" by Annie Dillard. Or maybe anything by Annie Dillard.
Happy reading!
