On a day when you feel vulnerable and crave gentle things going to see "The Incredible Hulk" is not the best idea. My children loved it.... I didn't. After the movie I needed some tender art play and Josh Groban therapy.
I'm will you...I can't endure even a hint of violence. Your little girl is so sweet and yes by the look on her face she is holding her inner self! I've never been one to watch scary movies either, when my daughter was a teen I had to get a cousin to take her to the ones she wanted to see. Just last week I left the room when there was something too gory on television. I know it's fake, my body just can't tolerate anything scary, mean or violent!
You're really on a roll! I Love this too...that fish in the corner is really cool and of course I Love the blue and red combo!!
The hulk? Ugh....would not have been my first choice either. A little known fact about me is that I probably have not been to the movie theater in over 4 years!
OK, I don't understand the fish but I can tell you, you haven't lost your crown. It is right there.Just pick it up and put it back on because I know you are still the queen.
Kind of weird, every blog I go to I'm right behind 'Sharon' above me ;) (we are readers of each other)and apparently others -sorry...ANYWAY, I think I would feel the same way after the Hulk movie. love Josh! I love the color of your blog and your wonderful art!
How funny.... I know the feeling. I recently saw Ironman. I enjoyed it but needed something relaxing after the whole ordeal!
Oh... and I must tell you that I actually saw Josh one night. I was on the elevator at a friend's "fancy" Beverly Hills apartment and we were going up and a guy who was dripping wet hopped on from another floor and had just came from the gym. My friend said hello to him and we got off the elevator and each went our separate ways. When we were inside the door my friend said, Oh... did you know that was Josh Grobin? I was so excited but so disappointed that I didn't look a little closer.

ReplyDeleteYou are a VERY good mother. This lovely girl among the butterflies is the perfect antidote for the Incredible Hulk!
