Bird talk

First say to yourself what you would be;
Then do what you have to do.
-9"x12" on watercolor paper-
I had the best intention to do Sharon's Modigliani challenge. I started with a blue background, had a "face" in mind, the colors ready... and then I saw my little clay bird and everything changed. I don't know where this came from... but I got lost in the process and loved painting it.

  3. It came from your heart and soul, and it's beautiful. I love the quote! I'm sure Sharon won't mind when she sees what you've created instead.

    Have a wonderful day.

  4. The is so lovely. You did exactly what one should do with a challenge. And that is get lost in it. And feel good while doing it. And be open to what you see around you and let it inspire you. That's why I glued that crazy napkin down.

  12. I think loosing yourself in your art and seeing what comes from that is the way it should be. It gives the art more heart! Great job, I love the colors.
