Sad for no reason

I always paint the way I feel, and I've been feeling a bit down for a while. No special reason for it. Just kind of sad. It will pass.... At least in inspired me to find my soft pastels and create something. Tomorrow will be better.

  1. Watch some cartoons this morning. :)

Some cartoony voice is always singing a "think happy" song that will get lodged into your brain for a few days...there is no way you can feel down with those voices in there! The problem with this method of therapy is that when the time comes to blurt out the song and sing a few bars outloud, your friends will think you are absolutely crazy...as of course, they will not have been watching cartoons. (I'll know what you mean though.) :)

  2. Your melancholy paints beautiful sadness. That you made art while feeling this way is remarkable. Most people wouldn't. You are a true artist.

  3. Hope it pases soon. Your painting is beautiful, especially the soulful eyes.

  4. It's okay to feel sad for no reason. All our emotions are valid and we wouldn't know happiness if we didn't have something to compare it to.

Your work has such a beautiful softness. It is bright and restful at the same time. I like it very much.
