In awe

He to whom the emotion is a stranger,
who can no longer pause and stand wrapped in awe,
is as good as dead; his eyes are closed.
~Albert Einstein
I was in awe when I saw Norah's latest posts. I couldn't resist stealing one of her photos and placing it in my journal. Look at the beautiful, fragile little bird! How I wish that I could hold it! As an added bonus I have the wingkeeper's hand in my journal (which makes me happy).

  1. Ohhhhhhh this is so cool. I would have guessed that this would be the one. You little thief, you. Now I'm going to have to try this. I needed your inspiration I think.

  2. I am inspired by your art. What a wonderful idea and so beautifully done...in this case stealing is good :)
I have a cousin in Iceland who at the age of 12 showed me a birds nest close to her parents summer house. The nest was on the groound we bent down to look at it...she put out her hand palm up next to the nest and a little baby bird shimmied himself into her hand...it was one of the most magical and awe inspiring moments I have ever had.
I think Sharon has the same kind of magic.
